The R5660 is a single-cell Li-ion/polymer battery protection IC that can detect overcharge, overdischarge, and discharge/charge overcurrent. A feature of this device is high-accuracy detection during overcharge and overcurrent. By stopping the internal circuit, the power supply current after overdischarge detection can be minimized. Also available in small WLCSP packages.
